SMS Notifications

Kairos Outreach uses SMS for operational ministry notifications sent only to people who have agreed to receive them. Messages may include volunteer signup alerts, help-request notifications, outreach ideas, and related Kairos Outreach activity. SMS is not used for third-party marketing.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of participating in Kairos Outreach.
How SMS opt-in works
Kairos Outreach uses two explicit opt-in flows. Volunteers may enter their mobile number on a volunteer signup and actively check an unchecked “Text me a signup confirmation” checkbox. Authorized ministry leaders may also enter a notification recipient mobile number and actively enable Text updates. In both cases SMS consent is optional and the control is not preselected.
