SMS Notifications

Kairos Outreach uses SMS for operational ministry notifications sent only to people who have agreed to receive them. Messages may include volunteer signup alerts, help-request notifications, outreach ideas, and related Kairos Outreach activity. SMS is not used for third-party marketing.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of participating in Kairos Outreach.
How SMS opt-in works
Authorized Kairos Outreach leaders and notification recipients are added through the Kairos Outreach website. A mobile number is entered and SMS alerts cannot be enabled unless the consent checkbox is actively selected. The checkbox is not preselected.
